1. Information We Collect
- Information You Provide
- Account Registration. When you create an Account, you will be asked to provide your contact information, including your name, company name (if applicable), address, email address, and telephone number. When referring other potential users to our Services, we may also collect their email addresses in order to send them a referral or promotional code that will allow them to sign up for our Services.
- Payment Information. When you add your financial account information to your Account, that information is directed to our third-party payment processor. Your financial account information is not stored on our systems; however, we have access to, and may retain, subscriber information through our third-party payment processor.
- Communications. In the event you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you, such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide. Furthermore, we may also receive a confirmation when you open an email from us.
At any time when we ask you to provide personal information, we will clarify why you are being asked for that information.
- Information We Collect When You Use Our Services
- Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies. When you use rimark.io, we automatically gather and store certain information in log files. In addition, we may also collect certain information automatically from your device, which include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, clickstream data, landing page, and referring URL. Cookies, which are small data files that enable our web servers to recognize you, may be set on your computer or device when you visit our Services to collect information. - Facebook. You may connect a Facebook page or profile to your Rimark account, in which case we will access certain information from Facebook regarding your account. In particular, we may collect profile image, display name, username/page ID or profile ID, access tokens, and sent posts. This includes the content of your post and engagement data (such as click rates, likes, re-shares, impressions, as well as general engagement counts), to the extent permitted by applicable law. This data will only be used by Rimark to provide you with the Service you expect and will not be shared with any third parties.
- Twitter. You may connect a Twitter profile to your Rimark account, in which case we will access certain information from Twitter regarding your account. In particular, we may collect profile image, display name, username / profile ID, access tokens, and sent posts. This includes the content of your post and engagement data (such as click rates, likes, retweets, re-shares, impressions, as well as general engagement counts), to the extent permitted by applicable law. This data will only be used by Rimark to provide you with the Service you expect and will not be shared with any third parties.
- Instagram. You may connect an Instagram profile to your Rimark account, in which case we will access certain information from Instagram regarding your account. In particular, we may collect profile image, display name, username / profile ID, access tokens, and sent posts. This includes the content of your post and engagement data (such as click rates, likes, re-shares, impressions, as well as general engagement counts), to the extent permitted by applicable law. This data will only be used by Rimark to provide you with the Service you expect and will not be shared with any third parties.
- Pinterest. You may connect a Pinterest page or profile to your Rimark account, in which case we will access certain information from Pinterest regarding your account. In particular, we may collect profile image, display name, username / profile ID, access tokens, sent posts, and profile boards. This includes the content of your post and engagement data (such as click rates, likes, re-shares, re-pins, impressions, as well as general engagement counts), to the extent permitted by applicable law. This data will only be used by Rimark to provide you with the Service you expect and will not be shared with any third parties.
- LinkedIn. You may connect a LinkedIn profile to your Rimark account, in which case we will access certain information from LinkedIn regarding your account. In particular, we may collect profile image, display name, username / profile ID, access tokens, and sent posts. This includes the content of your post and engagement data (such as click rates, likes, re-shares, impressions, as well as general engagement counts), to the extent permitted by applicable law. This data will only be used by Rimark to provide you with the Service you expect and will not be shared with any third parties.
- Google+. You may connect a Google+ page or profile to your Rimark account, in which case we will access certain information from Google regarding your account. In particular, we may collect profile image, display name, username / profile ID, access tokens, and sent posts. This includes the content of your post and engagement data (such as click rates, likes, re-shares, impressions, as well as general engagement counts), to the extent permitted by applicable law. This data will only be used by Rimark to provide you with the Service you expect and will not be shared with any third parties.
- Spotify for Artists. You may connect a Spotify for Artists profile to your Rimark account, in which case we will access certain information from Spotify for Artists regarding your account. In particular, we may collect profile image, display name, username/profile ID, access tokens, and insights data. This includes the content made available on Spotify for Artists and engagement data (such as streams, fan location, fan demographics, similar artists, as well as general engagement counts), to the extent permitted by applicable law. This data will only be used by Rimark to provide you with the Service you expect and will not be shared with any third parties. We will not share your specific data with any third party but reserve the right to use your information to create anonymized data sets.
- VIII. Apple Music for Artists. You may connect an Apple Music for Artists profile to your Rimark account, in which case we will access certain information from Apple Music for Artists regarding your account. In particular, we may collect profile image, display name, username/profile ID, access tokens, and insights data. This includes the content made available on Apple Music for Artists and engagement data (such as streams, fan location, fan demographics, similar artists, as well as general engagement counts), to the extent permitted by applicable law. This data will only be used by Rimark to provide you with the Service you expect and will not be shared with any third parties. We will not share your specific data with any third party but reserve the right to use your information to create anonymized data sets.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect in various ways, including to
- Provide, operate, and maintain our Services;
- Improve, personalize, and expand our Services;
- Understand and analyze how you use our Services;
- Develop new products, services, features, and functionality;
- Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the Service, and for marketing and promotional purposes;
- Process your transactions;
- Send you text messages and push notifications;
- Find and prevent fraud; and

- Information We Share When You Sign Up Through a Referral. If you sign up for our Services through a referral from a friend, we may share information with your referrer to let them know that you used their referral to sign up for our Services.

- Business Transfers. Rimark is committed to protecting your information. To do so, we employ a variety of security technologies and measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. The measures we use are designed to provide a level of security appropriate to the risk of processing your personal information. However, please bear in mind that the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax, or accounting requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

If you terminate your Account, any public activity on your Account prior to deletion may remain stored on our servers and may remain accessible to the public.
To protect your privacy and security, we may also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before updating or removing your information. The information you provide us may be archived or stored periodically by us according to backup processes conducted in the ordinary course of business for disaster recovery purposes. Your ability to access and correct your information may be temporarily limited where access and correction could inhibit Rimark's ability to comply with a legal obligation; inhibit Rimark's ability to investigate, make or defend legal claims; result in disclosure of personal information about a third party; or result in breach of a contract or disclosure of trade secrets or other proprietary business information belonging to Rimark or a third party.
9. Your Data Protection Rights Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the following data protection rights:

- In addition, you can object to the processing of your personal information, ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information, or request portability of your personal information. Again, you can exercise these rights by emailing hello@rimark.io.

- Similarly, if we have collected and processed your personal information with your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. 10. Your Choices

Please note that if you choose not to accept cookies, some features and the personalization of our Services may no longer work for you.
